Investigation the effect of climate change on Municipal planningin urban environments abstract

Climate change is a major challenge for urban systems around the world. The effects will likely intensifyin the coming decades. While humanity may be able to take collective action to limit the severity of theseimpacts ،Scientific evidence suggests that some are already occurring and will occur, regardless of anyongoing decline. The effects of climate change, such as increasing rainfall intensity, storm and flood waves, and the effects of urban heat island are likely to affect many urban systems around the world. These greatlyaffect urban systems and the populations and services that support them. To counter these effects, almostcertainly, we will need to adapt. In this regard, it is positive to note that urban planning has the potential tobecome a key factor in the development and implementation of adaptive responses in urban systems. One ofthe benefits of urban planning is the universality of the profession and the tools it contains. Tools such asplanning, stakeholder involvement, development management and design standards are available and usedfor urban planning regimes around the world. These are important for the development and provision ofurban adaptation at different scales.
