Examination of virulence factors in clinical isolates of pseudomonas aerogenes by phenotypic analysis abstract
Abstract
Objective: Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic pathogen that is one of the main causes of hospital infections. Is known. The pathogenesis of this bacterium includes several virulence factors that enable the bacterium to enter the spectrum. It adapts to a wide range of environments and decomposes many types of substrates. The purpose of this study is a phenotypic investigation of molecular virulence factors in clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Methodology: Isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were studied. Isolates in terms of producing factors Virulence, including lipase, protease, lecithin’s, gelatinase, hemolysin, pigment, DNase, and biofilm enzymes, was investigated. The PCR method is reliable for nan1 and plcH, algD, aprA, lasB, exoU, exoS, exoY, exoA, and exoT genes that also exist, and the identified genes were sequenced and confirmed.
Results and discussion: This study showed the frequency of clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa producing virulence factors. The subject of the study is Baal. Based on the results of this research, Pseudomonas aeruginosa in our region is able to produce several agents, including one of the enzymes that can play a role in pathogenicity. In this study, most of the isolates were able to form biofilm. Meanwhile, among the biofilm producing isolates, most of them formed a strong biofilm. Another important finding of this research was that the alginate-producing gene was the most abundant.
