Abstract:

In this study, two hollow sphere structures, CuO and CuAl۲O۴, were synthesized and theirsupercapacitor behavior was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-discharge methods.The obtained capacitance was ۲۱۰ and ۱۶۰ F g-۱ for CuAl۲O۴ and CuO in a three electrode system and at ۱ A g-۱current density, respectively. Also, CuAl۲O۴ showed ۲۴.۷ Wh kg-۱ and ۷۰۰ W kg-۱ energy and power density, inasymmetric supercapacitor respectively. After ۳۰۰۰ charge and discharge cycles, ۷۸.۱% of the initial capacitanceof the device was maintained
