An efficient nano-zeolite (HS) catalyzed one-pot protocol for the synthesis of 3-Substituted coumarins

In this present article, We demonstrate the knoevenagel reaction for the synthesis of coumarin derivatives by the condensation of o-hydroxy benzaldehyde with an active β-dicarbonyl C-H acides under classical heating conditions in the presence nano zeolite of hydroxy sodalite (HS) as a new efficient, excellent, readily available, very inexpensive and recyclable catalyst.
