We studied the optical properties in gold ellipsoidal nanoparticles. We did thecalculations by discretedipole approximation theory (DDA). Extinction cross section wascalculated for the gold ellipsoidal nanoparticles with different sizes targeted by longitudinal andtransmission modes of incident electrical field.
