The analysis of Hyundai Cruz minibus chassis under static and dynamic loads

Chassis is one of the most important parts of the light and heavy vehicles that not only protects the differentparts, but also has a determining role in vehicle stability. The aim of this study is to assess the static and dynamiccharacteristic of Hyundai Cruise minibus. ANSYS and ABAQUS were used for the modeling and thesimulation of the problem. In the static analysis, the effects of applied loads on the chassis caused by theweight of both vehicle and passengers and in the dynamic examination, the effects of forces such asaccelerating power, braking and uneven road were considered. The results are presented for thedeformations and stresses distribution of the chassis due to static and dynamic loads.
