Strengthening students' reading skills

Abstract Without the ability to read, a student's potential for advancement in all curriculums is reduced, and beyond school, reading is critical to success in the workplace. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influencing factors in improving students' reading skills. The current research was an educational-educational experience, which is part of systematic review studies according to the implementation method. Research history was searched using the following electronic databases including Scientific Information Database (SID), Humanities Comprehensive Portal, Noor Specialized Journals Database, Pubmed, Web of Science, Google Scholar and ScienceDirect without time limit in Iran.The results of this research showed that direct teaching of phonological awareness, teacher's mastery of the metacognitive dimension of the hidden curriculum, descriptive evaluation, higher emotional intelligence, multisensory education, lesson planning, teaching of metacognitive strategies, activities of teachers and administrators in school, direct educational program, The teaching of linguistic games, the use of Hijamad-based teaching model with the strengthening of auditory, visual and tactile stimuli and the method of mutual education are among the factors that can affect the students' reading skills.
