Abstract:

The effectiveness of the peer learning method can be found in at least four theoreticalperspectives on learning. From Piaget's point of view, the learning process generally resultsfrom the cognitive conflict between what has been understood and what has been acquired in theface and active interaction with the environment and manipulation in it. Its purpose was toinvestigate the effect of peer feedback on the writing activities of Iranian EFL (English as aForeign Language) students. The results of the research show that in peer learning from eachother, students reach relationships that find a common goal. Meanwhile, they experienceindividual learning and try to teach each other. Peer-to-peer learning requires students'communication skills and improves them.
