Novel Synthesis of Functionalized Alkynyl Imidamide Derivatives via Copper-CatalyzedTrichloroacetamidines and Alkynes

A one-pot Cu-catalyzed synthesis of functionalized alkynyl imidamide via coupling reaction of terminalalkynes with trichloroacetamidine produced in situ from trichloroacetonitrile and aniline or benzyl amine is reported.
