Abstract:

In this paper, the main objective is to employ an SMC (Sliding Mode Controller) to the descent of the Extra EA-۳۰۰ aircraft. To achieve this, a nonlinear model of the aircraft is utilized, initiating the descent process until the aircraft ultimately reaches the ground. To enhance the performance of the SMC controller and improve the precision and quality of the aircraft landing, a genetic optimization algorithm based on the NSGA-II method is applied to adjust the parameters of the SMC controller. The simulation results demonstrate that the SMC controller exhibits high capability in controlling and stabilizing the aircraft during the landing process. Additionally, the aircraft state variables converge to desirable values, and the aircraft successfully completes the descent process with adequate precision and acceptable stability. This control method establishes a dynamic and stable system, contributing to the improved efficiency, safety, and accuracy of the automated landing operations for the Extra EA-۳۰۰ aircraft.
