Influence of Geological Minerals on Enriched Soils abstract

Sustainable agriculture can be considered as a way to enhance productivity in agriculture and to improve the level of economic prosperity through protecting all living things on earth, living spaces and natural resources. It is crystal clear that the continuity of all the living things is achievable with the food provided by natural resources. The present paper, which is a descriptive paper characterizes the impact of minerals on the science of enriched soils and finally on the agricultural revolution. More than forty-one mineral commodities are applied by agriculture for the manufacture of fertilizers, pesticides, soil amendments, and for food storage and processing. There are no substitutes for the primary and secondary minerals in the enriched soils which support plant and modern agriculture. The essential plant nutrients and trace minerals found in volcanic rock dust, in addition to the most important minerals in the soil which include feldspar, quartz, micas, olivine, amphiboles, and pyroxenes as primary minerals, can help to balance soil pH, enhance soil structure, and offer crucial nutrients for healthy plant growth.
