Investigation of Security Problems with Cloud Computingand Virtualization Technology

A scalable system of shared resource pooling in cloud environment is investigated with the help ofvirtualization .We need to securely isolate each of these virtual machines from the other, so that we can haveguaranteed secure sharing of resources. A hypervisor is the software between the guest other virtual machinesand the physical hardware. Hypervisors are utilized for splitting the physical hardware into several logicalvirtual hardware, which allows to run multiple operating system at a time. Hypervisor is a type of VirtualMachine Monitor (VMM) which has the total power over all the placed-in virtual machines so through itsecurity relating to major issue. More small/medium business is moving towards the cloud, and with it thesecurity threats relating to how to protect the privacy of their data and still control it. This paper delivered thesecurity threat and risks of virtualization in cloud computing along with possible solution to the discussedproblems.
