Abstract:
This article is a library review method, which was written according to the opinions of scholars in this field. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of bilingualism on the duration of learning English between bilingual (Baluchi and Farsi) and monolingual (Persian) people. The necessary content for writing this study was obtained through searching in SID databases and Google search engine. The results show that the effect of bilingualism on the duration of English language learning between bilingual and monolingual people may be different. Bilinguals usually have more language abilities and can use different language resources and environments.But ultimately, how long it takes each person to learn English depends on many factors, including the level of mastery of the first language, language activities, learning methods, and practice. It is their constant.
