Abstract:
International dispute settlement refers to a set of methods and processes that parties use to manage and resolve their disputes. These processes are aimed at preventing military conflicts, maintaining international peace and security, and reaching agreements that are acceptable to all parties. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict took place during two wars, both of which are considered a crisis for humanity. The peace agreements made in the first war did not last until the second Nagorno-Karabakh war took place in ۲۰۲۰. Efforts were made by the international community, especially Russia. As a traditional ally of Armenia and a strategic partner of Azerbaijan, Russia has been able to establish a relative balance between these two countries. After intense fighting in ۲۰۲۰, Russia intervened directly and brokered a temporary ceasefire between the two sides, leading to the presence of Russian peacekeepers in the region. The move highlighted Russia's role as a major player in maintaining peace and stability in the region. With its actions, Russia tried to prevent the escalation of conflicts and provide a basis for long-term negotiations. Focusing on the role of third governments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, this article want to answer the question, what actions have been taken by third governments in this war? The following article is about what methods Russia has used to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis. Throughout history, Russia has always been among the influential governments in the region, and it is not unlikely that Russia has been effective in resolving peaceful disputes in this region.
