Abstract:

Hydrogen is a sustainable fuel and is regarded as one of the promising potential solutions for the current local and global problems regarding energy and the environment. Its eco-friendly method of production is one of the key features for ensuring a better environment as well as for the successful continuity of sustainable development. .Black liquor is a thick, dark liquid that is a byproduct of the process that transforms wood into pulp, which is then dried to make paper. In this paper two process to produce hydrogen from black liquor is introduced and compared. the hydrogen production from bkack liqour and without direct causticization with CO2 capture are expressed. According to the pressure and temprature that shows in this paper, using direct causticization with CO2 capture will be more commercially.
