This article examines the role of emerging technologies in the transformation of public governance in Iran, particularly electronic governance (e-Government). Digital transformation in the public sector can significantly impact the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of governments. The article analyzes the challenges and opportunities of utilizing information technology to reduce corruption, accelerate processes, and improve government transparency in Iran. Key challenges include inadequate technological infrastructure, organizational resistance, and security concerns. Additionally, the article offers recommendations for improving governance through innovative technologies, such as developing infrastructure, training digital skills for public servants, creating integrated systems, and supporting innovation in new technologies like artificial intelligence and blockchain. The findings suggest that e-Governance can help reduce corruption and increase transparency, but structural and cultural reforms within the government are necessary for its success. Furthermore, the article discusses the role of electronic systems, management information systems, and new technologies in addressing administrative corruption, speeding up processes, and enhancing transparency, offering frameworks for improving governance through digital transformation.
