Design and Analysis of a Novel Hybrid Energy Conversion System for Renewable Energy Sources abstract
Renewable energy sources have gained increasing attention in recent years as a sustainable alternative to traditional fossil fuels. However, one of the main challenges of renewable energy systems is their intermittent nature, as they rely on factors such as sunlight and wind for power generation. To address this issue, researchers have been exploring novel hybrid energy conversion systems that combine multiple renewable energy sources to improve overall efficiency and reliability. One such system that has been gaining traction is a hybrid energy conversion system that combines solar and wind power generation. This system utilizes photovoltaic (PV) panels to convert sunlight into electricity during the day, while wind turbines generate power from wind energy at night or during periods of low sunlight. By integrating these two sources of renewable energy, the system can provide a more stable and consistent power output, reducing the reliance on backup power sources or energy storage systems. The design and analysis of a hybrid energy conversion system involves optimizing the configuration and operation of the system to maximize energy output and efficiency. This includes determining the size and placement of the PV panels and wind turbines, as well as developing control strategies to seamlessly switch between the two power sources based on availability and demand. Additionally, researchers must consider factors such as weather patterns, geographical location, and energy demand to ensure the system is tailored to specific requirements and environmental conditions. Overall, the development of hybrid energy conversion systems holds great potential for enhancing the integration of renewable energy sources into the existing power grid, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and resilient energy infrastructure.
