Investigating the possibility of producing dielectric materialCaCu3Ti4O12 using synthesized raw materials abstract

CaCu3Ti4O12 has high dielectric constant. This material is used in microwave and electronic devices in cars andairplanes. There are various methods for producing this compound. In this research, first, the two primary materialsrequired for the production of CaCu3Ti4O12, namely CuO, CaO, were synthesized, and then the formation ofCaCu3Ti4O12 was investigated by mixing these synthesized materials with TiO2, pressing, and sintering the obtainedmixture. To determine the appropriate temperature for the formation of CaCu3Ti4O12 , three temperatures of 1050,1150, and 1250°C were used. It was found that with increasing the temperature, the amount of raw materials decreasesand the product content increased gradually.
