Investigating the tourism development of Azin International Wetland based on the SWOT analytical model

abstract The general purpose of this research is to investigate the role of attractions and tourism potentials of Azini wetland in Sirik city in attracting tourists. The research method of this study is a combination of descriptive, documentary and analytical methods. It should be mentioned that in this research, after preparing the generalities and theoretical framework of the research, field operations were carried out to get information about the studied areas and to investigate the status and manner of tourism in that area.In general, a questionnaire was prepared for this research. After completing this questionnaire, Spss and Excel software were used for data analysis. The results of the SWOT analysis show that the threshold of vulnerability of this wetland in the field of various types of tourism is very high, and it needs to be revised and provide appropriate policies to eliminate weaknesses and threats by using strengths and opportunities. Currently, tourism and tourism economy is becoming one of the main pillars of the world's business economy, in addition, many development planners and politicians also refer to the tourism industry as the main pillar of sustainable development. In this regard, coastal tourism is also considered a part of the tourism industrywhich can play an effective role in the development of these areas and as a result of national development and diversification of the national economy by proper and principled planning and identifying the advantages and limitations of coastal tourism.
