Rapidly Progressive Glomerulonephritis: Etiology, Treatment, and Prognosis: A Review Literature abstract
Rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis (RPGN) is define the following: 1. Fast damage of kidney function temporary (days to weeks). 2. Macro or microscopic hematuria, proteinuria, dysmorphic red blood cells (RBC). 3. Renal biopsy showed cellular crescent development in the glomeruli. Untimely diagnosis stands important for treatment and diagnosis, to prevent loss of renal function. RPGN define according to immune complex deposition and histopathology: A. Deposition of antibody linearly. B. Pauci-immune problem. C. Granular immune complex deposition disorders.
