This article investigates the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in personalizing elementary education, paying particular attention to the psychological and pedagogical challenges associated with this innovative approach. Employing a case study research method, this study analyzes data collected through interviews with experienced teachers, detailed questionnaires from students and parents, and direct classroom observations. The results of this analysis indicate that AI has significant potential for improving personalized learning in educational environments. AI systems can significantly enhance the learning experience by adapting educational content, learning pace, and teaching styles to the individual needs and abilities of students.
However, this research also identifies several challenges. These include the need for specialized training for teachers to effectively use technology, concerns about the privacy of student information, and the potential psychological effects of excessive technology use on children’s social and emotional development. This study emphasizes that the integration of AI in elementary education must be carried out carefully, with attention to the various aspects of child development. Ultimately, this research provides practical solutions for improving educational systems, increasing the effectiveness of technology use, and creating a balanced and supportive learning environment for students.
