Investigating the effect of lectin nanoparticles on the progression of estrogen-sensitive breast cancer abstract

Breast cancer, as one of the most common and deadly types of cancer in women, especially its estrogen-sensitive (ER+) type, has created serious challenges in the field of diagnosis and treatment. Common treatments include tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitors, which are widely used in the management of this type of cancer. However, resistance to treatment and disease recurrence are major problems faced by many patients.In this regard, nanomedicine is attracting the attention of researchers as a new and promising approach in cancer treatment. Lectin is a type of glycoprotein that can bind to carbohydrates. that nanoparticles coated with various lectins have the ability to bind to the glycoproteins of the luminal surface of the vascular endothelial cell membrane. And one of the tasks of this layer is to control the flow of hormones.
