Investigation of zero energy buildings and related strategies direction of sustainable architecture abstract
Due to the increase in environmental concerns and changes caused by human activities, reducing energy consumption and reducing the negative effects of buildings on the environment has become one of the main priorities in the construction industry. It is one of the most important problems that the world has faced in the last century. It is facing the problem of lack of energy. Two aspects of the end of energy resources and the pollution created by the consumption of fossil fuels lead the societies towards the use of renewable energies. Improper construction practices contribute to environmental problems by causing pollution such as soil, water, etc. Zero Energy Buildings (ZEBS) as new and effective solutions in this direction are trying to reduce dependence on non-renewable energy sources and reduce greenhouse gases. This article aims to provide a brief definition of sustainable architecture and buildings with zero energy consumption, to get to know the characteristics of these buildings and to provide an analysis of its design and implementation solutions. This research is qualitative and has used library methods to collect information.
