Grazing as a Biological Control to Confront Desertification and Climate Change abstract
Nowadays desertification and climate change are serious environmental problems. Opposite of the idea that grazing livestock causes climate change and accelerated desertification, livestock is a sustainable strategy for fighting desertification and decreasing carbon in the atmosphere. In this article, the data derived from the reviews that livestock grazing helps mitigate desertification and climate change by improving ecosystems physically, chemically, and biologically, decreasing greenhouse gas emissions specially the ones include carbon, and conserve native species biodiversity and reduce invasives were studied and analyzed.
