Everyman for His Family” in Arthur Miller’s “All my Sons abstract
All My Sons is about a man, a father who prioritizes “survival over value, self over the group, pragmatism overthe ideal, loyalty to family over responsibility to society” (Bigsby 80). This play is not only about one’scommitment to being responsible for his actions, but also about having a sense of duty toward society, one lives in.The tragedy grows when a man cannot balance his self-interest and human unity.
