Braced Cut method in soil excavation abstract
With increasing the construction and the lack of land to build buildings, engineers are turning to constructed floors and buildings underground. From previous years, various methods have been proposed to stabilize the pit for the construction of underground. In this article, we examine the Braced Cut method from the perspective of construction management. This method can be applied in all soil types and has no specific application restrictions, so it can be very useful for urban areas. In this research, after introducing the Braced Cut method, we will deal with design and implementation steps. We have tried to present all design and implementation points in the form of images to the audience in order to better understand the content. The study of this method has been done in 3 projects in Tehran and we presented the results of this research.
