Applications and properties of quantum dots, a gateway to nanotechnology abstract

From the past until now, extensive developments in science and technology have affected and transformed human life. In recent years, quantum dots have received much attention due to their special optical, chemical, and electrical properties. Today, quantum dots are considered for reasons such as size-dependent emission and brightness, not disintegrating against light, simultaneous emission of several colors, and high sensitivity. On the other hand, due to the high accuracy factor in optical applications, quantum dots are a good option for use in some sciences and industries, such as medicine, electronics, and the subject of renewable energy, such as solar cells, in general, the basis of quantum dots is based on nanostructures. Takes place, so we need to synthesize nanostructures to use these features of quantum dots. Nanotechnology, like the discovery of Newton's law of gravity in the 17th century, relativity and quantum phenomena in the 20th century, is a prominent point in the history of science that can be called a revolution.
