Providing a clustering method for optimal energy consumption in wireless sensor networks using load balancing

Wireless sensor networks include a large number of sensor nodes, where each node collects physical area information and sends it to the main base station for analysis and processing. These networks have been used in various fields such as environmental monitoring, industry, military observation, battlefield, and more. In recent years, there has been increasing interest in using wireless sensor networks, and research has focused on expanding their applications. Based on network structure and routing protocols, wireless sensor networks can be divided into two categories: clustered networks with different clustering methods and non-clustered networks. In this research, a clustering method is proposed for wireless sensor networks. The proposed method uses a clustering approach with small base stations near each other. Parameters are selected to choose the cluster head and calculate the main station distance. The proposed simulation method shows good performance compared to other methods.
