Transformation in the Educational System through the Use of Modern Technologies: From Challenge to Opportunity

In the past two decades, technological advancements have significantly impacted human life, and the educational system has not been an exception to this trend. In Iran, the use of modern technologies in education, particularly after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, emerged as a necessity. This transformation has been accompanied by challenges such as unequal access to technology, resistance to change, and a lack of infrastructure. However, on the other hand, opportunities like personalized learning, increased access to educational resources, and improved learning quality have also arisen. This article examines the transformations in Iran's educational system within the realm of modern technologies, analyzing the existing challenges and opportunities. By utilizing domestic and international sources, along with studies conducted in the past two years, this article aims to provide a comprehensive and accurate picture of the current and future state of Iran's educational system. The findings of this study can assist policymakers and stakeholders in the field of education to make better decisions aimed at improving the educational system.
