studying the problem of talent identifications among high school students in Tehran abstract
This article examines the issue of talent identification in high school students in Tehran province. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the existing methods and tools for identifying students' talents, especially in sensitive and key academic levels. Given the importance of identifying talents in achieving educational and career goals, this research seeks to identify the challenges and obstacles in the talent identification process and also to provide suggestions for improving this process. The research method includes qualitative and quantitative data analysis through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with teachers, counselors, and students. The results show that the lack of sufficient awareness about modern talent identification methods as well as inconsistency between educational institutions are among the limiting factors in this field. Finally, the article emphasizes the need to develop effective educational and counseling programs in order to identify and cultivate students' talents.
