Effect of moisture content on the physical properties of imported coffee beans to Iran abstract
Physical properties of imported coffee to Iran from three countries (India, Vietnam, and Indonesia) were studied for moisture content ranges between 4.83~44.19% (d. b.), approximately. The increase in moisture content affected the physical properties of the product by promoting increase in the length, width, height, surface area, geometric and arithmetic mean diameters of coffee beans. The relationships between the geometrical properties and moisture content of coffee beans were obtained linearly as represented by regression equations
