Abstract:

Azam Ghorbani Assistant Professor of Islamic Azad University of Saveh Department of Chemistry, Collage of Technology and Engineering, Saveh Branch, Islamic Azad University, Saveh, Iran a.ghorbani@iau-saveh.ac.ir In This study three-phase hollow fibers liquid-phase micro extraction (LPME) method for preconcentration of Imipramin from biological sample was used. Micro extraction application were evaluted based on porous hollow fibers by extraction with a pH gradient. Imipramin is an antidepressant which extracted from the aqueous solution (donor phase) into an organic phase in the porse of the hollow fiber and continues to extract back to a second aqueous solution that is placed inside the hollow fiber. The extracted analyte with LPME was detected with high performance liquid chroatography equipped with ultraviolet detector (HPLC-UV). The effect of various parameters which affected extraction efficiency such as type of organic solvent, receiving phase, pH of receiving phase and extraction phase, extraction time and mixing speed were investigated. Under optimum condition of extraction condition the pre-concentration factor was obtained ۱۵۸ for urine samples with an appropriate detection limit of ۲ µg ml-۱.
