Abstract:

A framework for making decisions about mineral resources in uncertain situations is provided by three-part resource assessments, which were started more than ۳۰ years ago. The components include the number of undiscovered deposits that are estimated probabilistically by type, frequency distributions of tonnages and grades of well-explored deposits that function as models of grades and tonnages of undiscovered deposits and general locations of undiscovered deposits that are defined from a deposit type's geologic setting. In this paper the results indicate that the highest tonnage and grade belongs to Unconformity-Proterozoic Fracture-bound ore called Cluff Lake mine from Canada with more than ۵% grade and ۱۰۰۰۰۰ tons. Also, the tonnage and grade bar charts showed that most of the reserves are in the range of ۰-۱.۹% grade and ۰-۲۰۰۰ tons. The high concentration of all uranium reserves in a specific range and the lack of severe dispersion indicate the correct classification of this reserve.
