Abstract:
High-throughput sequencing has been used to identify known and novel viruses infecting various crops in Iran, such as saffron Iran virus, saffron dwarf virus, wheat dwarf virus, Leek yellow stripe virus, onion yellow dwarf virus, Iris Severe Mosaic Virus, Iris Mild Mosaic Virus, watermelon mosaic virus, malva-associated emaravirus ۱, saffron latent virus, prunus virus T, gladiolus mosaic virus, ris potyvirus C, broad bean wilt virus ۱, iris polero-like virus ۱ and Dianthus caryophyllus cryptic virus ۱. High-throughput sequencing has been used to identify viruses infecting various crops in Iran and is suggested to be used to identify viruses infecting other crops.
