Shifting to Numerical Paradigms for Architectural Design Process

Creativity has been a main concern of all generations in all areas of art through the centuries; hence, this signification is inseparable of architecture. In addition to creativity which brings about the originality for an artwork, there exists another concept which has encompassed the architectural design: the authenticity and its application in the architectural design process. In the other words, the architectural work should be simultaneously original and authentic; that is the reason proposing the creative design process in architecture. The studies in literature review are representative of the fact that creative design process possesses both two aforementioned features. This process is on the basis of five main steps which travel forth us towards the creativity in the design. These five steps are called first insight, preparation, incubation, illumination and verification.On the other hand, on the bedrock of the recent researches, the numerical methods are able to enhance the five steps of the creativity remarkably and they are able to reform themselves based on the previous experiences. Accordingly, the future world can be considered the era of the movements of which the application of the numerical methods are an inherent part of each design process for the better comprehension and development of the architectural design process.
