PETROGENESIS AND ORE DEPOSITS OF LATE CENOZOIC COLLISION VOLCANISM IN THE LESSER CAUCASUS, AZERBAIJAN

The problem formation of volcanic rocks and clarifications their relationship with melting primary magmas in different geodynamical situation is one of priority in modern petrology. In late Cenozoic volcanism on Lesser Caucasus was shown in condition of the collisions, begun with the end of the late Cretaceous, when was closed Geycha-Erzindzhan residual basin, and with late Sarmatian has already approached the hard collision. Geodynamic conditions of the late Cenozoic magmatism manifestation in that region are linked with collision of the Eurasian and Afro-Arabian lithosphere plates.
