Siphon-Type Power Conduit System

Siphon type power conduit system in small and hydro power plants is considered compared with the conventional one. Advantages of siphon type are discussed. Different priming method such as container, injector and gatelstoplog types are considered and compared with the vacuum pump method. These methods except the vacuum pump do not need power source and are more suitable for small hydropower plants.
