Abstract:
AlPO4-5 and its cobalt-containing analogue, CoAPO-5, were prepared using aluminum source in the presence of triethylamine as a structure directing agent; Al powder and the other materials were combined and crystals were prepared with hydrothermal procedure. By using a gel with Al species and low HF content, large perfect hexagonal-shaped AlPO4-5 crystals were obtained, at a synthesis temperature of 453 K. CoAPO-5 was synthesis with the same method. Coblat nitrate was added to solution in third step of synthesis method. These zeolitic crystals were characterized by XRD, SEM and EDAX. The size of CoAPO-5 crystals was larger than AlPO4-5 crystals
