Abstract:
In this research Multi wall Carbon Nanotubes (MWNTs) were coated first with SiO2 and then decorated with CeO2 nano particles and vice versa. The effect of metal oxide deposition priority on increasing the thermal resistance of MWNTs was investigated and results indicated the best performance for catalyst which was coated first with CeO2. Catalysts were caracterized with XRD, SEM, TGA,and ASAP. The Performance of catalysts in thermal catalytic cracking (TCC) of naphta for production of light olefins was studied at 680oC and the steam ratio equal to 0.5; finally the results were compared with thermal cracking conditions
