A Comparison of Several Triple stores in the Semantic Web

The increasing interest in the Semantic Web has motivated a lot of recent research in various areas.One of those areas is working and managing high volume of data. As the volume of raw data increases traditional data processing methodologies, especially those involving manual manipulation are becoming increasingly difficult to manage. This paper present a brief information about various triple stores: Virtuoso, Jena, Mulgara, Bigdata, Sesame, Garlik 4store and BigOWLIM. Then we present the result of comparing characteristics and performance of the triple store. We also discuss the suitability and performance of the triple store when used.
