In silico resAP-PCR fingerprinting of Geobacter species abstract
Geobacter as one of the anaerobic respiration bacterial genus that is able to oxidize organic materials, radioactive metals and petroleum compounds into environmentally CO2 and Because of several potential applications in Nano biotechnology field for the creation of microbial Nanowires, Natural battery and interference in Bioremediation processes and other importance of this bacterial genus. In This study we have analyzed some genome of Geobacter species for insilico genetic diversity with Restricted AP-PCR(resAP-PCR) method with Bioinformatics tools and we have calculated Oligonucleotide-Skews and AT/GC skewness of Geobacter bemidjensis as species with high susceptibility for In silico metabolic modeling of subsurface Bioremediation processes and being electron donor and carbon source.According to resAP-PCR, DNA of 9 bacterial species has been digested with Hea III or Alu I prior to amplification with three 9 nucleotides and selection of oligonucleotides has been done based on genome sequence of each strain, and amplified bands resolved in 2% Agarose gel .In conclusion we have displayed gel profiles and we have calculated distance matrices based on Pearson coefficient and constructed UPGMA Dendrograms for either one of two enzymes gel profiles.
