Abstract:
In recent years, energy distribution companies havebeen faced with new challenges such as growing energy demandsand greenhouse gas emission. Distributed energy resources areremarkable solutions to overcome the aforementioned problems,but integration of distributed energy resources to energydistribution networks provides some technical challenges forenergy distribution companies. In this paper, effect of distributedenergy resources such as CHP, wind, energy storage and demandresponse programs are evaluated on electric distributionnetworks. In doing so, energy hub approach is used to modeldistributed energy resources on energy distribution networks.Furthermore, the proposed energy hub is scheduled underintegration of the aforementioned technologies.
