Metaphysical Aspect of Empowerment for Long-Term Sustainability abstract

According to Gallup Research, organizations utilize less than 20 percent of their employee’s potential. To develop employee potential requires an organizational culture that inspires employees to learn, grow and give their very best. Fundamental basis of effective human resource utilization is the empowerment of individuals. Each employee is a resource with skills, abilities and capabilities to offer. Ultimately, the success or failure of any organization lies in the people that comprise it. Empowerment provides the tools to maximize the effectiveness of each and every employee. The 80 percent of unused potential of employees can be mobilized through a supernatural power that lies behind empowerment. That supernatural power can be generated through trust, faith, appraisement, aspiration, self awareness, vision crafting, mental clearing, manifestation, self responsibility, authentic communication, learning and growing, caring, love, affection etc. To understand the concept of metaphysical aspect of empowerment, we need to shift our focus of empowerment beyond specific programs and projects. The property of supernatural power is that it can change and expand. Therefore it is a meaningful concept that empowerment is a process of change triggered by supernatural power.
