Microwave-assisted One-Pot synthesis of some 3, 4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones derivatives using 1,4-Bis(triphenylphosphonium)-2-butene peroxodisulfate (BTPBP) as an Efficient Reagent

In this project, 4,1-Bis(triphenylphosphonium)-2-butene peroxodisulfate was used in the multicomponent reaction as the efficient solid reagent to synthesis of some 3, 1-dihydropyrimidin-2(4H)-ones derivatives. Different classes of aromatic aldehydes with electron donating and electron drawing group were easily condensed with ethyl acetoacetate and urea or thiourea under Microwave irradiation
