Female English students’ preference and perception toward e-book and paper book abstract

Nowadays computers and electronic devices changes the form of learning and teaching sharply. In the past, paper books were the only form of books, but today we use frequently electrical devices the learning and teaching environment. Actually these devices like computers, phones, tablets and have facilitated learning and teaching. E-books can be considered one of the new modes of educational aids. It is going to replace paper books, the traditional form of books.The aim of study was to investigate the students’ preference and perceptions about e-books and paper books and see differences between the two modes of books and reasons why they use one than the other. The participants were female M.A students of English language teaching. The data collection was done by distribution of questionnaire and interview. According to the results some solutions will be given in order to encourage students to use e-books.
