Abstract:

Effective management of a project requires a well organized system which is capable of planning the project under any uncertainty level. In this paper, a new approach which applies fuzzy Delphi method in estimation of activity times is proposed to Fuzzy Project Scheduling Problem ( FPSP). This approach is based on the representation of activity times with L- R fuzzy numbers. Fuzzy Delphi method is applied for the assessment of activity times considering the expert’s opinion. Using this method, all the uncertainty exists in activity times are considered. Fuzzy Delphi method generates L- R fuzzy number which can measure more adequate information about the nature of activity times. Yager ranking method is used as a transformation method for fuzzy numbers in the scheduling problem. Finally, through a heuristic algorithm, the main steps of the proposed method are presented.
