Abstract:
Given that Iran is the world's largest producer of saffron and about 90 percent of the world's saffron is produced and one of the most difficult stages in the production of saffron, saffron harvest is manually due to high production costs It thus offers a good way of designing and anufacturing to mechanized harvesting of this plant is necessary and inevitable. In this study by examining the needs of the country in agricultural mechanization to design and build a machine to harvest saffron, which can reduce production costs and eliminate manual cutting farmers hardship. In the first phase of the study and review of literature, reference and scientific works in the field of harvesting machines, so different models of harvesting machines and provide the best and most practical approach to designing and modeling system based on the principles of design and drawing industries using industrial design software (solid works) is.the benefits plan designs and manufacturing pneumatic harvesting saffron scientific and innovative plan to mechanize the harvest is laborious.
