Assessment of some of models for predicting soil forces On narrow tillage tools abstract
During the last two decades several analytical and mathematical models have been developed for predicting the performance characteristics of tillage tools in soils. These includes two-dimensional models and three-dimensional models for narrow tillage tools. The objective of this paper is to assessment of three-dimensional soil cutting models to predict the behavior of narrow tillage tools. These models developed by Payne (1956), O'Callaghan-Farrelly (1964), Hettiaratchi-Reece (1967), Godwin-Spoor (1977), McKyes-Ali (1977), Perumpral-Grosso-Desai (1983), Swick-Perumpral (1988), Zeng-Yao (1992). The purpose of this study was not to select a best model but compare the basis for the models, the assumptions involved, and the capabilities of the model
