Investigating into the effective elements on trend of Zorkhaneh in outstanding athletes of this sport

Background: Zorkhaneh is one of the oldest and the most rooted in cultural and sport symbol in Iran. Ancient sport or Zorkhaneh with various changes during history could be preserved its place as an ancient sport with cultural and religious approaches. Materials and Methods: The present study has been done with the aim ofinvestigating into the effective elements on trend of Zorkhaneh and has been used from the questionnaire of researcher for the purpose of attaining the main aims of research. Statistical population of this study includes experienced mentors in this sport thatbecause of limitation in statistical population, all they had participated in research. The results had analyzed by using (SPSS) software and the results showed that the majorityof participants were married and with diploma. Result and Discussions: The old who work ancient sports (%85.7), the encouragementof attendants and friends (%72.7), family and dignitaries (%69.7), watching ancients plays in Zorkhaneh (%66.7), the gaining of respect and reputability thanks to the engage in ancient sport in Zorkhaneh (%60.7) are the effective elements in attend to ancientsport of Zorkhaneh. Conclusion: The existing of reputable athletes in Zorkhaneh, the positive prospect of family towards this sport, increasing development of Zorkhaneh in corners of the country could be effective in preserving of this sport as a precious moment of ancestors and as a worthy cultural, religious and sport symbol.
