Abstract:

Natural gas dehydration is an important part of any natural gas refinery. Coldfinger dehydration process is a type of glycol dehydration process which TEG is more concentrated in stripping section of dehydration process. It has been done with a device called Coldfinger. The better performance of this process respect to common glycol process causes to increasing this type of dehydration unit in the world. In this study this device is modeled in Hysys software. It has good agreement with experimental data of south pars gas unit. Sometimes stripping gas for more concentration is injected to this process which changes the performance of Coldfinger device. Theses tow cases are modeled and compared the results.
